ChirpSense (“we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use the ChirpSense app.

1. What We Collect

• Audio Recordings: When you tap “Record,” the app captures short audio snippets of bird calls.
• Chat Data: If you use our AI chat, we collect your bird identification results and chat questions to provide answers.

2. How We Use It

• Audio is sent to a trusted bird-identification service to determine the species.
• Chat data is sent to our AI provider only to generate responses. We do not use your data for any other purpose.

3. Sharing

We only share your audio with our bird-ID partner and chat data with our AI provider to make the app work. We do not share personal data, device info, or location.

4. Data Retention

• Audio and results are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted.
• Chat history is kept for up to 30 days, then deleted.

5. Security

All data is encrypted in transit. Access to our servers is restricted and monitored.

6. Your Choices

• You can request deletion of your data anytime by emailing m.haris4274@gmail.com.
• You can use the app without the AI chat feature.

7. Children

ChirpSense is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
